Performance Sports Medicine is dedicated to the pursuit of improving performance, be it Physical or Psychological, of any sports person.

From the Sports Injury perspective we look at prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation back to performance level. The most common injuries we see are:

* Low Back Pain
* Neck Pain
* Sprains & Strains
* Sports Injuries

However, the best form of treatment is always prevention and a comprehensive physical screening can not only help to prevent injuries before they occur, but also help improve your sports performance.

Performance can also be improved by specific training geared to your sports, using our Strength and Conditioning program, which is geared to your personal needs.

If you find your performance has dipped recently, it may not be a purely physical problem. Sports Psychology may be the answer you’ve been looking for. 

An increase in stress may occur for a number of reasons and can negatively affect performance.  A performer may become tense and unable to focus on executing the task and therefore managing emotions may be the key to increasing performance.
